Who is SCFI?
Supported by Akron Community Foundation, GAR Foundation, United Way of Summit County, and the County of Summit.
SCFI was formed in 2013 by aligning the resources of two prominent Summit County fatherhood service providers:
These two providers have more than 30 years of combined experience in delivering fatherhood programming in Summit County.
Collaborative partners include:
- Summit County Child Support Enforcement Agency (payment modifications, referrals)
- Summit County Domestic Relations Court (referrals)
- Summit County Juvenile Court
- Oriana House (hosts fatherhood classes)
- Community Pregnancy Center, Barberton (hosts fatherhood classes)
- Info Line
- Local school districts
- Local faith-based organizations
The Summit County faith community and social service agencies are invited to inquire about becoming collaborative partners in the delivery of fatherhood programming.
